Think of Failure In a Positive Light

What ever you do don’t be afraid to fail!
Don’t be afraid to try something new, because you’re scared that you aren’t going to be good at it. As Nike says “Just Do It”! People fail all the time and when they do they only become stronger. It is because of the mistakes we make we learn what and what not to do moving forward. It goes off the phrase “you don’t know what you don’t know and you wont know until you try”
Fear and insecurities are the single biggest threats when becoming successful. Fear it’s self can significantly paralyze you and your business growth.

What are the most common blogging failures?

Often in public speeches I talk about how social media was Marketing Eye's game changer. It took us from doing the hard yards marketing with what dollars we had left to do so, to sitting back and taking orders - literally.
When we started out on social media, we were reluctant. What do we share? How do we share it? What would our target audience be interested in? We had so many questions, but due to the infancy of social media and blogging at the time, we were able to experiment. I would write one blog, and see the results. It may have been a pure marketing blog with really good content and would get a few hundred readers.

Failure. Let's be honest... it sucks

We all fail. We may not set out to fail, but inevitably, failure will find us and it happens more than we would would like.
I fail at many things: communicating the value proposition of our business when we have severely over serviced a client, walking my dog each day, keeping employees engaged, keeping a timesheet and letting go.
My biggest failure

Are cool kids doomed for failure?

I don't know about you, but when I went to school, the coolest kids in the class who were destined for greatness somehow fell short of their schoolyard celebrity status and became, well, um, not as successful as their parents and friends first thought.
I remember all those cool kids who seemed to have it all at the ripe age of 14, while I sat in the library reading a book because, quite frankly, I wasn't as cool, nor did I win any particular popularity contest to speak of.
Instead, I wrote my weekly debates and hoped that the cool kids' "coolness" would somehow rub off on me and overnight, I could hang onto their coattails too. But that was not to be - instead, I spent every free hour at school secretly hoping that one day I would be cool too.
Today, I am reminded yet again why start-ups fail.
I met with a lovely couple a few weeks ago who wanted to open a retail store. They have a dream to work for themselves and the wife wanted to be in fashion.
They are new to the market and have never owned a fashion outlet, but they both have passion and are determined to do it.
I asked all the normal questions;
