It can take many different forms, such as pictures, videos, live-stream videos, and more. It’s typically most common on platforms such as Snapchat, Facebook, and Instagram. Businesses have a huge opportunity to reach a young audience by incorporating ephemeral content. According to Statista.com, Instagram stories had 500 million daily active users in 2019, and Snapchat had about 265 million daily active users reported in the fourth quarter of 2020.
