Writing a report has never been easy, whether it is for school, university projects, or your boss at work. It could be time-consuming to complete a report but with the right skills and knowledge, writing a marketing report doesn’t need to take a lot of effort. Here is how I do a marketing report for my employer at our organization.

These days, it’s harder than ever for businesses to attract the attention of their audience. No matter how good the products or services are, there will always be hefty competition gunning for your customers. While it might be easy to start some sort of bidding war between you and your competition, it’s more effective to begin building a relationship with your audience to establish a sense of trust and thought leadership. You can do this with an effective content marketing strategy. A content strategy utilizes the content that your organization develops to achieve any particular business goals that you have in place, whether it’s driving brand awareness and engagement or pushing a new product. Below, we discuss how to develop an effective content marketing strategy to achieve your business goals.

Building your brand is an instrumental part of developing your business. Without this foundation, your organization will lack the voice, value, and customer awareness that will set you apart from your competition. While it might seem that branding efforts are an expensive venture, it doesn’t have to be! You don’t have to spend a ridiculous amount of money to build a memorable, recognizable brand. Below, we discuss some budget-friendly ways that your business can develop a better brand identity.

Does your company have a blog? If not, What are you waiting for? With today’s online consumer behavior, blogging has become a vital part of maintaining an online presence. Blogging can essentially divert traffic, increase sales, and improve conversions for your business as well as develop relationships with your readers.

Who would have thought that a blog titled "Why married women are more successful" would receive 54,256 views in less than 24 hours, 555 likes, 634 comments, 702 Facebook likes, 2,632 shares on LinkedIn and 79 retweets on Twitter? I did. And that's exactly why I wrote it.

I am a new author on LinkedIn and I know a thing or two about blogging and going viral. If I just write about marketing, at most, I will get between 1,000 and 10,000 views over a week. If I write about something personal - more. But if I write about something that people have strong opinions on or that hits a raw nerve - the sky is literally the limit.

It also depends on the forum. The very same post "Why married women are more successful" was posted on this blog last week, with less than 1,000 unique views. The reason for this, as I explained to my team, was because people who read my blog are highly educated, entrepreneurs or CEO's, who 'get the value of a good blog'. They wouldn't respond because just by reading "kiss as many boys as they like" they realize that it is very "Sex in the City" rather than an article that is going to be backed up with a statistical line up.
If you thought it was easier to use social media than to write a blog, then consider this. 53.5 percent of internet users will read blogs this year, whilst our social network counterparts are on a declining scale.

P.S. If you like this marketing blog, then please feel free to share it on whatever social network medium you see fit. We love facebook, twitter and linkedin!
