Who are the best marketers in Australia?

Last night at the rugby match with the Queensland Reds and the NSW Warratah’s, I was lucky enough to spend some time chatting to the Marketing Manager at Qantas. After chatting for half an hour, I realised that not only is this man a great marketer, but he is also a skilled communicator. So, I enlisted his communications skills for an upcoming regional Marketing Conference in Townsville to be held in early June 2011.

Other great marketers, may not actually be marketers at all… they are often entrepreneurs who when they start their businesses, can’t afford a marketing manager, so they learn the skills they need to promote their companies by reading books, talking to people, watching what others do and going to conferences.
