Green this, green that! That is all we seem to hear about these days. With carbon emissions trading legislation still in limbo, it seems that companies are collectively at a stand still.
I spent yesterday writing about how companies can improve their corporate responsibility and save costs at the same time. A no-brainer to me and to many of the companies that already work with the company I was writing about.
Whilst we may wait with bated breathe for the Government to agree on carbon emissions trading policy, there are so many things that businesses of all sizes can be participating in.
Infoactiv (www.infoactiv.com.au) are greenscaping experts that help businesses with identifying, measuring and managing a company’s environmental and electronic waste activity. Whilst they work with the Top 500 companies in the Asia Pacific region, there is a need for better understanding amongst smaller businesses.
From a branding and corporate responsibility point of view, it is now critical that all businesses have a ‘green policy’ and that it is part of their everyday mandate.
What ‘green’ policies have you implemented?
