I stood looking at it for five minutes or more, totally mesmerized by the history of the house that was there for the world to see.
It was like looking at a piece of art.
This house as it stands proud in Boundary Street, West End, tells a story - one that is rich in movement and worn through wear and tear.
Looking at this house, I could see that it had lived a full life and was nearing the end. The paint pealing off the wooden boards and the broken pieces of window, giving us all a view of what could possibly be inside.
In business, we all have a "house" whether it is a Starbucks Coffee Shop or your kitchen table, a small serviced off or a luxurious modern building; where your business calls homes tells a story.
I have never been one to invest in too much in terms of office space but location has always been very important to our business. Location, Location, Location - they say and I personally agree.
Our fit-outs are consistent in Australia and will be in the US market of Atlanta, New York and other key locations that we are planning to open offices in. Our brand is proudly displayed in all reception areas, and books highlighting our history and story are there for everyone to see.
When you go into our boardroom, a white on white combination, it tells our clients that we have a blank canvas that we would like to color in with something that turns their brands from being ordinary to exraordinary.
What does your house say about you?
