Many people fly by the seat of their pants when it comes to interviews. There is no preparation, no coaching, no pre-empting of questions and no understanding.

It pleases me when companies come to me requesting to be media trained. They understand that being prepared will guarantee the best outcome.

If you look at sportstars of today and how well they come across in the media, it’s easy to see the value right there.

In the old days, sportstars would come across as uneducated bogans and now they clearly communicate about the sports they play, their sponsors and their team spirit.

Tomorrow, I will be conducting media training for one of my favourite clients who is one of the highest growth companies in Australia.

We will run through a series of questions that a journalist will ask, tips on how to answer questions, how to look at a camera and how to get the most out of an interview.
