There are many reasons for this; namely, is that I don't want to give too much away in case, heaven forbid, someone copies.
But I have this blog, which many wonderful people read, and it's very real. It tells it how it is. If you read the blog daily, you would pretty much know who I am, what I think about business and be getting a fair share of stories that may or may not relate to your own small business experiences.
Last week, I talked on how to get your business to the next level. Well, I am there. I have had enough holidays, and I am completely and utterly committed to taking my business to the next level. My enthusiasm for Marketing Eye and what it has to offer is contagious. I know this because every meeting I have of late, people make comment.
Marketing Eye is successful in Australia. I am proud of its accomplishments and what it provides the businesses we work with. We are innovative to a point, that many of our competitors copy our website word for word, our service offering and as much as they can - our spiel. But they are never going to be us as we will always be the innovator, the thought-leader and the risk taker.
In small business marketing, there are few successful players. Most are freelancers or they have very small businesses and outsource areas of their business. We don't hire freelancers and have a no outsourcing policy. Part of our point of difference.
Marketing Eye provides a complete marketing department under one roof. No outsourcing. That means that the companies brands we work with, are managed and maintained with branding integrity across all marketing and communications mediums.
Later today, I will post a presentation of what we do and how we do it on Slideshare, but for now, let's talk about what Marketing Eye is doing to expand.
Australia is going very well. We are very happy with its growth and our CEO, Julie Schoneveld is a passionate and talented leader.
But Australia is a very small market.
The US is not. It's huge. Mammoth. 27.5 million potential clients that fit into our small business category.
To launch in the US market, we need to showcase our point of difference and get our brand out there very fast and effectively. We need to set up sales teams, a Marketing Eye school and aggressively hit the market.
To do this, we need a capital injection. So, in the upcoming weeks, as we finalise our investors that are going to assist in Marketing Eye expanding to the US, I will share my journey - the highs and the lows.
Hope you enjoy it. If you have experiences of doing the same, please feel free to share either on this blog or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
