Friday… is it really our favourite day?

Friday is the last day of the working week. Many of us spend our entire week willing it to come sooner and when it finally arrives we are not sure quite what to do.

One of my team asked recently if there was a day a week that we could celebrate and wear casual clothes and of course I answered Friday. Being a Kiwi (him, not me) I am sure he may have missed the early nineties pull of casual Friday, but as I lived in it, I have certainly not.

Casual Friday is a marketers dream. It allows people within an organisation wear their personalities on their sleeves. They get to show the personality of themselves and at the same time, what makes up the personality of the entire organisation in one go.

Yes, Friday is a wonderful day, so full of promise and happy things to come. Bring it on.
