Setting a 'brainstorming meeting' in place in your company can mean the difference in coming up with a successful campaign or not. The investment in time, is surpassed by the outcomes of a brainstorming meeting that is facilitated in the right way.

5. It gives people as sense of ownership over your product or service
6. It gives your team a creative boost
7. It takes away all the pressure being placed on one person
8. You will be able to produce a bigger haul of valuable ideas

10. It's teamwork at its best!
How can you facilitate a brainstorming meeting in your company?
Select a team and create a brief
Firstly, select a team to participate in the brainstorming session. The team should come from all areas of the business; from reception through to the mailroom (not just obvious places). The brief needs to be detailed and should include details of the end goal from the brainstorming session.
Generating Ideas
Encourage every single person to participate and to communicate all ideas no matter how silly or off the track they may think it is. The idea is to let everyone's imagination run wild and for the team to be inspired, not just by you the facilitator, but by their peers. The larger number of ideas, the better. You may choose to video or record the idea generation as well as appoint someone to write them all down.
Turning Ideas Into Something Worthwhile
This is where your creative people need to come in. Let them listen to all the ideas that were generated and allow them to creatively be inspired by what your team had to offer. Slowly raw ideas will start to formulate into an idea that you may be able to build upon
Direct marketing is often a large investment for small businesses and it needs to be well thought through. Think about how you can interact with your customer on multiple levels in every way imaginable.
