I was cutting it fine trying to make a meeting in South Melbourne the other day and low and behold, as I drove through Albert Park Lake, some ducks decided to cross the road really slowly. 5 minutes later, I was back enroute to my meeting with Melbourne’s top recruitment company for IT professionals.
Behind schedule by 5 minutes, then I couldn’t believe it – an elderly lady decided to cross the road. Another 5 minutes later… and yes, I was late by 10 minutes, but at least I had the pictures to prove it!
Being late for meetings isn’t ideal. If you don’t know the directions to your meeting, make sure you leave plenty of time. In today’s high-tech environment, whilst you are early for a meeting, you can always hop on your iphone or blackberry and do some work.
