I prefer passion over all else particularly when it comes to work. Passion in love - is dangerous and there is ups and downs.

Bad relationships happen. They are inevitable. Particularly when you have been around for a while.

The more passionate you are about a person or anything really, the more it affects you and sends you a little crazier than normal. But mostly, logic comes back into play and you tend to correct whatever it is that went wrong.

I've spent a lot of time pondering why passion whether it is for a work project or a person sends you into a spiral that is sometimes out of control. Is passion really worth it? Is it more sensible to have no passion but to just structure the way you work and live.

From a personal perspective, is someone more happy marrying the right person who fits their list or the person who they are so passionate about, fight with and want to literally kill sometimes, but then other times love them so hard and so deeply that they cannot breathe.

They say it's a fine line between love and hate, and I have to say, that is the truest statement of them all. When you really, truly love someone, nothing else matters. If you hate someone, then perhaps you secretly love them or respect them in some weird way.

With work, passion can cause you to forget everything else around you and the only focus you can possibly have is on the work that you are most passionate about. It makes you unproductive and leaves other things unfinished, yet if you ever get to finish that "passion project" the reward is higher than anything else you could have ever done. That's why some people take less money for projects they are passionate about.

inside me, a fever I can't cure.”
