If you are thinking of going away, then why not head up to Koonyum Range Retreat www.koonyumretreat.com.au – it’s definately a favourite of mine. Koonyum has the most magnificent view I have ever seen overlooking all of Byron Bay hinterland and is nestled up in the hills in quiet seclusion.
I transgress. Whilst the pressure for small business is mounting as more and more regulations come in, I find myself quietly chuffed having yet again, gone through some of the toughest conditions in the economy and survived.
Every small business that has got through the Tech Crash and the GFC should pat themselves on the back. It is no small feat let me assure you.
This year, I am ready more so than ever before. Knowing that I can survive anything and still come out ok is a fairly reassuring position to be in.
My industry is going through change and we hope that Marketing Eye stays ahead of the curve as a thought leader and innovator.
If you feel a little weighed down by the last 12 months, head off for a few days in the middle of the week, turn off your iphone or blackberry, and relax. Then whilst you are relaxing think positively about how well your business is going to go in the next 12 months and what actions you are going to instigate to ensure that this does happen.
Write your plan on day 3 of your mid week retreat and you will find that you when you head back to work, you will add so much more energy and excitement into the workplace and everything else will follow.
Good luck! Let me know how you go!
