2011 – It has a great ring to it. There is something about how twenty-eleven rolls off the tongue that just gets me excited.
Officially, I am not back to work until Monday, but I am so excited about the year ahead, I can’t help but spend a few hours in the office planning Marketing Eye’s success.
Afterall, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail – right?
So out comes the business plan from the bottom draw and the strategic marketing plan. With a red pen in hand and a highlighter, I have read every single page, made adjustments, increased turnover projections and set in place campaigns month by month to increase our sales performance.
Next Monday we launch our CLIENT CARE PROGRAM to improve our service delivery to clients, better meet their expectations and create opportunities that they definately won’t get anywhere else.

There is no holding back entrepreneurs and given that we are past our GFC debarcle and our dollar is so strong, it appears to be the right setting to take businesses to the next level.
My new year’s resolutions are;
- Be happy and make others around me happy
- Set my business benchmark a little higher
- Deliver a better service to clients by giving them something that no one else can
- Create a Client Care Program that ensures more visibility, better delivery and improved communications
- Invest in staff training (epoch Australia – your ears must be burning today! – they simply are the best trainers and facilitators in the business)
- Do what I love more often
