What is your favourite part of being an entrepreneur?
The ability to freely create, in a space with no predefined structures or barriers that usually inhibits an individual’s ability to express themselves fully.
What are of your business are you most interested in?
The GreenScaping work that we do is the most interesting for me at the moment. To develop a business around environmental sustainability, to contribute to the community via commercial endeavours that have real results for the health of our planet as well as supporting families, is a fortunate position to be in and one that is personally rewarding.
What do you love about your brand?
It stands as an ethical leader, strong, independent, trustworthy and innovative, in a very very tough market
What is your signature business style?
Collaboration, involvement and engagement, all levels, internal and external
What is your favourite brand outside your own?
Apple of course, it’s a brand you want to be part of, it’s a community in its own right
You lead a busy life – how do you maintain your mind/body balance?
I don’t put myself at the bottom of the list. I did once, but now I monitor the level of ‘health, lifestyle and wellbeing’ in my weekly schedule. It marked ‘green’ in my diary and I need to see a lot of green when I open my calendar.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Dinner with friends and a good red and designer fashion, all in moderation
What is your top holiday destination?
Europe – skiing. Always. Don’t always get there though!
Your business in a nutshell?
Saving customers time, hassle, complexity and cost, which in supply chain, is like gold!
If you weren’t an entrepreneur, what would you be doing?
Being a high maintenance, demanding employee with more talent than I’m given credit for. Ok, seriously, probably managing major national and international events and shows. We in fact do a bit of this when we run eWaste events, so it’s an element of the business anyway.
