While I can't sit still when it comes to making my life as diverse as possible, I certainly remain focused on the end goal.
There is no-one calling the shots; not even in the business which surprisingly runs itself quite well. Our team is without doubt the most equipped yet to take the business to the next level and I am in a great headspace to make things happen.
There are few challenges that are not easy to overcome and I am constantly pushing the envelope to ensure that our work is better than anyone else on the market.
We surprisingly turn away clients every day of the week. If they are not a good fit from the first call, then there is no point in pursuing something that your gut instinct tells you won't lead to a happy ending.
I am looking at each day as if I am competing in a race that just requires me to reach the finish line. I don't have to be the fastest, nor do I have to have the biggest team. Just one that works hard, and runs consistently for the entire length of the race without dropping off.
As an entrepreneur, I am constantly second guessing myself. Am I doing this right? Do I really need this? Are we giving our people the best opportunity to be successful? Are we spending enough time helping clients achieve their goals?
There is so much to consider that at times, even I get exhausted. But it's a good exhausted. The one that makes you feel like you have accomplished something.
Today's motivation: Don't ever let anyone tell you that you are not good enough or capable enough to achieve your goals. Stand proud, and deliver your best speech every single time. And most importantly, don't take business too seriously. It's just a game that you get to play.
